Warmly welcome Yuhan to join our CALAS family! Yuhan SHE received his B.Eng degree in 2021 from Zhejiang University, majoring in Electrical Engineering. He will officially start his Ph.D. study from October 1, 2021.

Many congratulations to Dr. Irfan, Sanka, and Dr. Zahid for their paper “Reconfigurable Content-Addressable Memory (CAM) on FPGAs: A Tutorial and Survey” accepted in Elsevier Future Generation Computer Systems (7.187 IF).

Congratulations to Sanka for his paper “A Systematic Review of Blockchain Scalability: Issues, Solutions, Analysis and Future Research” accepted in Journal of Network and Computer Applications (6.281 IF). Well done Sanka.

Heartiest congratulations to Dr. Mohammad Irfan for successfully completing his Ph.D. thesis oral examination. He is the 14th happy Ph.D. graduate from our CALAS team. Dr. Irfan will further develop his professional career in Hong Kong after graduation.

To recognize the good performance of Teaching Assistants, Department will present Outstanding Teaching Assistant Awards this year to Teaching Assistants who performed teaching duties in tutorial and/or laboratory sessions by considering the TLQ results, student comments, and the assessments by course lecturers/technical staff. Big congratulations to our excellent PhD CALAS team. Out of 4 winners, 3 of them are from CALAS in 3 different courses, Logic design, computer architecture and security technology. Congratulations to Mehdi, Irfan, and Yang. And all the support from our PhD team, Sanka, Gavin, Candice, Gary, Ajita, Yao, Vic, and Kit, and all the Senior year CALAS members!

Many congratulations to Dr. Mehdi Hasan for successfully defending his PhD thesis and getting the Doctor title. He is the 13th happy PhD graduate of CALAS team. Dr. Mehdi will join the Assistant Professor position in Bangladesh. The team wish him all the best of his future endeavors.
